ABOUT THE ARTIST
Victoria Rinaldi
My name is Victoria Rinaldi and I am currently a junior at Penny W. Stamps School of Art and Design. I explore self portraiture across many media including painting, printmaking, drawing, and installation. I have also been the graphic designer for several organizations on campus at the University of Michigan such as New Beat Happening, WCBN, the Cohort, and others.

created video used in projection in adobe premier.Â
this performance piece explores the absurdity of male violence towards women using unsettling imagery projected on to my female body while creating harsh, frightening sounds using live instruments.
BODY EXTENSIONS
this video captures the performance of a collaborative piece worked on by 4 artists. each artist created a body extension that would allow the wearer to make marks, but the process of making said marks is incredibly cumbersome. i created a head piece out of cardboard that allowed the wearer to paint with 2 different brushes attached to the top of their head. each brush was made with found yarn from the fibers studio and hand knit in order to pick up more paint.
